Dana Richey is the Event Coordinator at the College of Emerging and Collaborative Studies. Before taking this role, Dana held positions of increasing responsibility, notably as the Enrollment Specialist and Program Assessment Coordinator at Black Hills State University in South Dakota. Throughout her career trajectory, Dana has garnered extensive experience across diverse roles, including Protocol and Events Specialist, Executive Assistant, Sales and Training Manager, and Store Manager. Her professional journey has been marked by adaptability, often shaped by the geographical demands of her spouse’s military service.
Following her own distinguished service in the United States Air Force, Dana pursued her academic aspirations, culminating in the attainment of a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Health Sciences, specializing in Pre-Sports Medicine, from American Military University. Her military enlistment, spanning six years, was marked by honor and dedication, encompassing deployments to Uzbekistan, Qatar, the Horn of Africa, and Afghanistan. The combat veteran originally hails from Florida, but now proudly calls Blaine, TN home along with her husband, their two children and chocolate labrador.
