Sarah Wyland serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the College of Emerging and Collaborative Studies (CECS). In her role, she is focused on building the CECS brand and communicating the groundbreaking work of the college to a wider audience. Prior to joining CECS, Sarah served as the Digital Marketing Director for Red Letter Communications, working with clients across the landscaping, telecommunications, and durable good verticals. 

Sarah has spent most of her ten-plus years in marketing on the agency side, working for agencies in Nashville, Los Angeles, and Charlottesville, VA. She also previously worked in marketing for student travel and the University of North Carolina’s Executive Education program.  

Sarah is a proud alum of the University of Tennessee and believes every day is a great day on Rocky Top. Go Vols! She enjoys reading, writing, and baking in her spare time, and can always be found cheering on the Vols during football and baseball season.
