Hedy is music composer for several short films such as Dead Body, Grand Theatre and Picture Palace, Bees Mecanique, the TV episode Green and Blue and the feature films Salaat and Deccani Souls. This digital body instrument called Soundrop has been used in a new performance piece entitled Digital Dervish + Flamenco Sonic (2022) which combines music, wearable body technology and live performance and has been showcased in the UK, Canada and Dubai. She has a BFA in Visual Arts from York University (Toronto) a ResM in Computer Music and a PhD in Digital Art and Technology from the University of Plymouth. Her current research interests include using artificial intelligence for music and visual art generation, using gaming engines and motion capture to create dance performance as well as creating new digital prototypes for musical expression.
