Faisal Hanafi manages AWS’s Worldwide Public Sector State and Local Government, Education, and Academic Medicine business for the Eastern half of the United States. Faisal’s cross functional team works with the C-suite across government, education, and academic medicine to deliver on business outcomes through modernization, improving operational efficiencies, and improving constituent, student, clinician, and patient experiences. The teams collaborating with Faisal’s organization are also playing a leadership role in how technology and innovation address key societal issues including health outcomes and addressing the opioid crisis.
