Betsey Kirk McCall is President & CEO of Seven States Power Corporation. McCall, who began driving the direction for Seven States Power in 2018, is the first woman to lead an energy solutions company in the Tennessee Valley, and brings a strong background in contract law, negotiation, and project management. By establishing a clear mission for Seven States Power to deploy technology that empowers utilities to meet consumer demand, McCall focuses the Seven States team on building the grid of the future by delivering solar generation, battery storage, backup generation, and EV charging infrastructure. McCall joined Seven States Power after nearly a decade with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) where she led teams in Power Operations, Fuels & Origination, and Regulatory Oversight. Prior to joining TVA, McCall was a practicing attorney representing clients in commercial transactions, and she served as the law clerk for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary in Washington, DC. McCall earned her undergraduate degree in finance and her law degree at the University of Tennessee. She resides in Chattanooga, TN with her husband and their son.
