Prepared For Work

CECS students graduate with in-demand skills and a clear path to meaningful, rewarding careers. With strong industry partnerships, CECS ensures students get valuable, hands-on experience through paid, for-credit internships, capstones, co-ops, and research projects.

CECS Cohort Experience

As a CECS student, you are part of a cohort experience collaborating closely on projects, blending perspectives from across disciplines to solve real-world problems while fostering strong professional and personal relationships.

Shared Experiences

Through shared experiences both in the classroom and in experiential learning opportunities, you develop critical teamwork and communication skills and learn how to work with people from different backgrounds, replicating the real-world, cross-functional nature of professional work environments.

In The Classroom

CECS students take one course together each semester, bringing together various disciplines and interests in one room while working towards a common goal.

Real-World Experience

Hands-on learning gives CECS students the opportunity to work together to solve a real-world problem while developing interpersonal and communication skills for the professional environment.

Pop Into CECS!

CECS holds events for students throughout the year, including our Pop Into CECS popcorn bar on Fridays, to nurture the collaborative nature of CECS and give students the chance to build relationships outside of the classroom.
