Johnny is the IT Technician for the College of Emerging and Collaborative Studies at the University of Tennessee, where he has worked for over a year. During his time at UT, he has collaborated with multiple colleges, developing a strong understanding of educational technology needs across campus.
Prior to joining UT, Johnny served as an Information Technology Manager for a local hospitality company for over a decade. He also holds several technology related certifications that support his expertise and problem-solving skills.
Outside of work, Johnny is an adventurer, long-distance hiker, and outdoor content creator with a deep passion for the Great Smoky Mountains. In addition to hiking, he’s an avid cyclist, mountain biker, rock climber, and kayaker often combining these activities into his backcountry experiences. Johnny shares trail information, scenic journeys, and personal challenges that inspire others to explore the outdoors and push their limits.
