Charles Branning is an Applied Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity double major at CECS and a member of the Student Advisory Council. Charles finds CECS’ close-knit community as the most impactful aspect to the college. To him, staying involved in RISE Base Camp and other CECS events is essential to getting the most out of the CECS student experience.
He stays involved through AI Vols and intramural sports. One of his favorite CECS experiences has been developing a game in a small group for his Game Craft class. He appreciated the creative freedom the project allowed and the chance to collaborate closely with classmates he enjoys working with.
After graduation, Charles hopes to attend graduate school and pursue opportunities with national laboratories or potentially launch his own business in the private sector. A fun fact about Charles: he was born in France.
