Edgar Myers (Chip) served over 30 years in operations as a national intelligence officer, working and living in multiple cities nationally and internationally. His early tasks centered primarily on technical intelligence and on Cold War issues, and his later work was primarily in counterproliferation. After finishing his operational career, he joined the DOE’s Office of Counterintelligence (CI), serving at ORNL and Y-12. He is now retired from federal service.
Chip is a native of Atlanta and graduate of University of Georgia (BSc) and Gordon-Conwell (MA). He completed two years of additional graduate studies and holds numerous professional certifications. He and his wife Lisa are now settled in Tennessee. When they are not at home, they are probably visiting their three kids and six young grandkids in either Los Angeles, NYC or Charlotte.
