Prior to working at CECS as the Cybersecurity Program Manager, Katherine Schroeder worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Her research focuses on cybersecurity measurement and metrics as well as cybersecurity risk analytics. While at NIST, Katherine also chaired the Federal Cybersecurity and Privacy Professionals Forum. Prior to her transition to cybersecurity, Katherine had a career as a stage manager for theater and opera.
