Laura H. Belken teaches Innovative Transdisciplinary Studies courses at CECS. She is an executive AI enterprise architect and strategist with more than 25 years of leadership experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology initiatives. She serves as Global Assets Solutions Architect, North America at NTT DATA, where she co-leads AI practice efforts and develops end-to-end engagement plans that align stakeholders across the organization, including collaboration with NTT Research. As an enterprise architect, she builds ROI/TCO-driven business capability maps, guides application modernization, and delivers workshops and thought leadership that move opportunities from discovery through proof of value. She also partners with strategic cloud alliances (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) to shape joint go-to-market approaches, applying enterprise architecture and FinOps frameworks to enable cloud-first modernization, including in the public sector.
Belken previously supported UnitedHealth Group as a Commercial Enterprise Architect (Presales), contributing to enhancements in captive operations exceeding $185M. She has contributed to value stream architecture publications and is especially interested in the emerging potential of agentic AI. She holds a B.S. in International Development and Rural Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
