Nneka Walson serves as the Director of Student Engagement and Success for the College of Emerging and Collaborative Studies (CECS). In this role, she promotes student-facing initiatives, champions student experiential learning, leads recruitment efforts, and cultivates a vibrant community where every CECS student can matter and belong.
With a strong background in Higher Education and Student Affairs, she has served in diverse areas across campus life, including Housing and Residence Life, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and Student Engagement. Her professional philosophy is grounded in equipping students with the tools to inspire, empower, and influence positive change within their communities and future industries.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Public Relations and a Master of Arts in Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs. She is passionate about fostering meaningful learning experiences that connect innovation, collaboration, and personal growth for every student she serves.
